The Wingcopter is a hybrid drone with a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) feature. The core of this technology combines a multicopter for vertical take-off and landing with a fixed-wing aircraft for cruising and fast flying over long distances.

The VTOL feature of this UAV allows it to be deployed even in the most extreme terrains. In addition, the customer can choose from a wide range of sensors like high-end camera systems, thermographic / multispectral cameras or transportation boxes to be attached below the platform. Depending on the payload, the system has a range of up to 100 km.

The Wingcopter high speed hybrid drone combines the advantages of a copter with the benefits of a plane.

Geozone is introducing a SCANFLY the new product by 3D TARGET, an Italian company active in the field of development and sale of measurement instruments, which granted  to Geozone exclusivity for DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

SCANFLY is the turnkey solution for 3D lidar mapping, specifically designed for UAS. Ultra-compact and low weight, it is the best cost effective solution available on the market. The installation is also possible on any vehicle (aerial, terrestrial, marine).

The optional panoramic camera allows the photographic documentation of the surroundings. The SCANFLY-Backpack option will be available in early 2017. The SLAM algorithms aid the integrated IMU (INS+GNNS) to achieve the best accuracy even with satellite outage. The point cloud is available in the most common formats or for SMART PROCESSING, 3DT proprietary software.

FLYING Scanfly can be easily installed on most of the UAS available
on the market due to its compact shape and light weight.
Thanks to the adjustable tilt angle, Scanfly can be used
to survey flat terrains, almost vertical surfaces
as any other environment.
The dual return allows to easily distinguish the foliage
from the ground. The double GNSS antenna allows a static initialization, with no need to perform complicated maneuvers
in order to achieve the best performances of the sensors. Multispectral or hyper spectral cameras can complete
the data collected in agro-forestry or precision farming application.

while wearing Scanfly. Indoors or underground,
the SLAM plugin compensates the GNSS outage to obtain

The payload lidar not only for UAS

Scanfly is the more compact, lightweight, versatile payload Lidar available on the market. Designed in every detail to allow an easy access even for non expert users, it is ready to go in only 5 minutes. Multi-platform, the installation is possible on any vehicle and it can be configured in the best possible set-up according to the peculiarity of the landscape to survey; the SLAM algorithms aid to achieve the best accuracy even with satellite outage.

Its easy-to-use idea can be found also in the post processing: no more need of RTK connection on site nor additional third party dedicated software,
but only a few clicks in its own application to have the point cloud. Each detail is meant to grant the best accuracy. The multi sensor interface enables the integration of different systems to shoot images in the NIR as multispectral and hyper spectral ones, aligning them to the geometric data.

The key word is EASY2USE: easy connection, easy configuration and easy usage. SCANFLY is clear, simple and unique. Switch it on and start measuring!
